Covers the history of Tang Ren Tong, Tiger Balm, and 5 Continets. Fascinating to see the use of mass media: newspapers, parades, radio, etc. from the early republic through the 1940s. Loved that Aw Boon Haw started his newspapers because he hated having to pay high rates for ads in other newspapers.
